About Me

There's so much to tell, yet the tales are probably best told over a few pints or a cup of coffee or tea. The condensed version of my life is written below.

I am an American. My father is a native of Pennsylvania and my mother is from the country of Honduras. I was born on March 17th, St. Patrick's Day in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and for some reason that qualifies me to be asked if I'm Irish by people who meet me. The only logical explanation for this question is that all the Irish people in the world are only born on this day. I grew up in Harvard, a small town in Massachusetts and have held my permanent residence in the state since birth. After attending The Bromfield School, the public high school in Harvard, I attended Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management while concentrating in entrepreneurship and IT. I currently live in Boston, and enjoy traveling for business and pleasure as well as running, snowboarding, socializing, reading, listening to music, rock climbing and playing chess.

My professional career has included working for a variety of companies as well as an independent contractor and consultant. I have been working with web technologies since 1995 and most of my work concerns technical projects ranging in locations around the United States & Canada as well as England, The Netherlands and India. My mental energies are keenly focused on entrepreneurial opportunities and real estate investment; the variety of roles that I have held (technical writer, programmer, startup co-owner, and management consultant to name a few) as well as the business problems I have encountered have given me a broad range of experiences to draw upon for the challenges I face daily.

I have had to pleasure of employment at companies such as Parametric Technology Corporation, Hyperknowledge, and Dotomi Inc. Currently I work at an early stage company, JumpTap, a mobile search and advertising company in Cambridge, managing ad operations. I am also involved in other entrepreneurial projects in their early stages and available for consultations and contract work regarding technical projects and business strategy development and implementation.

In January of 2006 I launched my second company Blue Komodo Inc., a web services and consulting company. It's growing rapidly and is something I am very proud of.
